     Visa

    The multiple entry tourist visa can be obtained:

    - Upon arrival at Kathmandu airport (provide 2 photos)

    - Online: http://nepalimmigration.gov.np

    We strongly recommend that you take it online to avoid the long queue at Kathmandu Airport. You can do this maximum 15 days before departure. You will only have to pay for your visa upon arrival. You can pay it in euros.

    Your passport must be valid for more than 6 months.

    Flight

    The cost of your international flight is not included in the service. You can book your flight several months in advance for a better price. Our agency can help you in your search.

    Insurance

    Insurance is compulsory in the event of serious illness or accident. The contract must include a repatriation assistance clause covering search and rescue costs in the mountains.

    Money

    On the spot, you have the possibility of making exchange and withdrawals in ATMs of big cities. During the trek, allow money for your personal purchases and the payment of drinks (not included). At the end of the trek, a tip for the team will be welcome.

    In general you find 220 volts everywhere. French sockets are suitable, but a type D adapter can be useful in the most remote lodges.

    Food

    You should only use encapsulated mineral water or purified water. Your guide will be very vigilant for your food and water during your trek.

    Health

    You can plan to have a checkup with your doctor and dentist.

    There is no compulsory vaccination for Nepal. Be aware that typhoid fever is not uncommon and that malaria is on the increase in the Terai. Take advice from your doctor for this.

    In case of a stray dog ​​bite you must be immediately repatriated to Kathmandu to receive the rabies vaccine. Rabies is a deadly disease.

    Before and during your trip

    Travel

    Minibus or jeep with private driver for internal routes and runway transfers. Domestic flights mainly operated by Yeti Airlines or Tara Airlines.

    Accommodation

    - In a three star hotel (local standard) in Kathmandu.

    - In lodge, comfort varies from region to region but remains rudimentary. The rooms are not heated, a good down is necessary. The toilets remain rustic and the showers are chargeable. We recommend sandals for hygiene.

    - In a tent, you will have a tent for two with comfortable mattresses, a toilet tent and tables and chairs for the comfort of your meal.

    Meal

    - Noon, picnic or meal taken in a lodge. You will discover the traditional dal-bath made from rice and lentils.

    - Breakfast and dinner, in a lodge or under a tent.

    Tea is the drink that will punctuate your days. You will be pleasantly served in the morning when you wake up. Other drinks are not included in the price.

    Backpack

    Everyone travels with their backpack for the day. You can put water, windbreaker, fleece jacket, sunscreen, camera ...

    Your large backpack will be carried by the porters. This bag must weigh a maximum of 13 Kg. Porters will be responsible for putting it in a cover to protect it. You can leave things at the hotel in Kathmandu at the start and pick them up at the end of the trek.

    Pharmacy

    It is important to plan your own pharmacy, here is the beginning of the list to help you:

    Equipment

    Pay attention to the season during which you make your trip. Your equipment will be based on that.
